1. Room fit
We evaluate clear ceiling height, usable width, usable depth, hitting position and right/left-handed needs. A product can lose a recommendation even when its technology is excellent if the placement geometry is wrong for the room.
2. Measurement fit
We classify the product as rear radar, side-mounted camera/photometric, overhead, or a hybrid. Manufacturer placement requirements carry more weight than generic room-size rules.
3. Ownership cost
We include required memberships, software tiers, gaming PC needs, special balls or stickers, mounts and realistic room components—not only the launch-monitor price.
4. Experience
We consider setup friction, hitting-zone flexibility, portability, screen and projector integration, shared-player usability and day-to-day maintenance.
Price checking
Displayed prices are snapshots marked by the date checked. We do not promise sale prices or inventory. The retailer or manufacturer checkout page is authoritative.
Affiliate independence
Affiliate availability is not a scoring criterion. A merchant relationship may determine where a “check price” button goes, but not whether a product belongs in the guide.
